Crew Skill Leveling sugestions

I have spent most of the time I have played this game leveling crew skills to make armor, grenades stems, etc... from my experience I have made a list of suggestions.

On top of my suggestion, I had a few other advantages that I am not sure everyone can get. I have provided a list of them in the Spoiler link below.


My Suggestions are as follows

1 Subscribe at least once so you can become a preferred player so you can use the legacy storage and send stuff over the mail.(when I first played swtor you had to be preferred to use the legacy storage don't know if you still do)

2 After you are subscribed create multiple characters so that you have at least one character for each of the crafting skills.(everytime you remove a skill you lose all the progress you made in it)

Note if you are not a subscriber you lose the major benefits of the step below(you only have two crew skill slots if you don't sub)

3 Use a boost tokens for the bounty hunter class. By doing this you get armor tech, scavenge, and underworld goods at 500 making it really easy to get them all to 600. When you use the boost you get access to all your companions to gather resources which you can then store or mail to your other characters. I did this in order to level up Arms tech and cyber tech. It is important to note you lose all your companions if you start the story mode of the knight of the fallen empire, so press esc and wait to start the story after you level up your crew skills.

3.b If you can use the second boost for a force user to get synthetic weaver, arcology and underworld goods at 500

4 Play the story on each of your characters till you unlock 4 companions so you can send them on missions(you don't really need to do this with the 2 characters that use the crew skills arms tech and cyber tech because you have 6 to use with the level 60/65 character scavenge and underworld goods missions)

5 Join a guild to gain extra exp which you will need to get to level 40 in order to use your 4 companions Also as you play the game you get exp boosts from class quests, It is better if you wait until you level 20 or above to use them. why well to put is simply its because the exp is boosted by a % and the larger the exp the greater the boost.

6 Use someone's referral link (especially if you don't want to subscribe) if you do this you get a free Inventory expansion and gain access to your third crew skill slot that you wouldn't get without subscribing.(you might also get Nico as a companion right of the start. (I think that is how I got him for my guys)

Note the steps below are the most important steps because for all crew skills it's the grade 9 -10 goods that you want all the other stuff is pretty much useless but is required to get your crew skills to 600 the steps below are the tricks I learn to level up most effectively

7 The only things you need to create in order to level up are the crafting/assembly components you get a new schematic every time your crafting skill levels up by 50. From my experience, you only need to build 10-15 of any component to level up by 50.

8 You can buy some of the crafting materials at the fleet for each component. it's faster than trying to use the missions(although it is more expensive). For the stuff, you can't buy on the fleet often times you can buy them on the GTN.

9 The last suggestion is to use your level 60 and above characters to run heroics to get about 120k a day to fund gathering missions and steps 6 and 7.
