News on Season 7 Ranked Coming 8/11! What I would want to know!

So we finally got an answer from Eric Musco on when news regarding the current season of pvp will be released. Information regarding this will be released on 8/11/16 in the Developer Livestream. I am making this post, to ask what other ranked pvpers would like to know on this date.

1. The most obvious is the ranked rewards. The key factor which motivates a large percentage of the ranked players, are the rewards which gets released at the end of the season. I would like to know what weapons, titles, mounts, armor set, and crystals are planing to be released and what the cost of each is. The value is the key part in this demand.

2. A solidified definition of the tiers and the rewards directly associated with said tier. I for one am getting mixed responses from a variety of individuals in regard what the tiers are and what your rating needs to be to be in this tier. Some people are telling me silver is 1350 others 1500 and everything in between. Having the tiers laid out would be great. Also previously, your placement within the tiers granted a sum of ranked comms as a reward. Bronze was 5400, Silver 26000, and Gold 100000 (if I can recall). I would want to know if the rewards for being in a tier was to remain the same. Also what is important to me, is if these comms granted for your tier placement is still based on your season best like previously or do you need to be in the tier when the rewards are being shipped out.

3. Retribution for low attendance, fluctuating populations (due to server transfers being cheap), wintraders, and hackers. To be honest, I have no expectation of receiving help in this category but if this was possible, you would make thousands of players satisfied. So this season has been especially rough in trying to play ranked (in both solo and group). Many hardcore players have left the game, disappointed in the lack of MMO content. This has caused a struggle in having the que pop. I am on one of the more populated servers, The Shadowlands, and up to the last couple of days, it required extensive time and effort to find people to play. Once we happen to find people to play, we will get about 15 matches in (MAX) and then everyone starts getting off. This happens maybe 2 or 3 times a week everyone other week (it has been better lately though). Secondly because of the cheap server transfers, large numbers of players have left servers that once have had steady pops leaving their past server's players stranded and struggling to play ranked. This ties into the first one in which it becomes extremely hard to find games on certain servers because many have left to go to the more populated. Next, wintraders are a big deal in Season 7. Personally, I play solo ranked for the most part. I watch individuals que with their friends and help them. If they are on the same team, they will play normal and try to win. If they are on other teams, one of them will take the loss and stuck it or quit the game causing a team to be at a disadvantage. Some even refuses to do their role (tank or heal) so it looks less suspicious. As I am writing this, I have had 2 teammates quit the game for no reason and give me an automatic loss today. Finally hackers. Hackers have always existed and will always. Using these third party programs to hack the game and reward themselves with free wins. Hackers are much rarer (but I have encountered a few within my times). One I can remember quite vividly, was a player who didn't show up for us. This player was not on the map and just stalled us out. After the 5 minutes ended and the game went to sudden death, the acid/poison would come in and kill everyone but that one player who apparently didn't take any damage. He would then reward his team the win and thats that. I have mentioned all of these for a reason. These factors make it harder to rack up comms rather through cheap losses, dropped ratings, or hard to find matches. I believe since many factors effected the outcome this season, the rewards should either be decreased in price or the comms given out with each tier should be increased. Thats just one of many solutions. Or you can just spend hundreds of hours backtracking and re-adding the comms costed by cheap acts. A guy can wish :o

4. Receiving an End Date for Season 7. it is important an end date is announced so that we as players will know the extent of which we need to play to receive rewards. If the season ends at the end of August, then many players would grind the game countless hours to horde and rack up every last bit of comms to receive the reward they want in the short time frame. If it ends when 5.0 starts or in October, players may take the few a week method since that'll keep them on tract for the rewards.

5. Preseason? Start of Season 8! So this ties directly into the previous statement. Not much to say but it will be good to have some sort of insight to when Season 8 will start and the estimated length of it (hopefully not as long as S7).
