8 Man Ranked - PTS Kickball this Saturday (23/03/2015 - 7pm GMT)
Oh so you thought that with the PTS going down my plans to do 8 man Huttball last weekend were ruined?
NO.
We managed to scrape enough players together to have a decent night of Huttball despite people not thinking the event was even on and guess what? WE'RE DOING IT AGAIN THIS SATURDAY!
So what did you miss last time around?
* Sweet 8 man huttball action
* Some MLG try hard skank tanking
* Val making everyone look bad by comparison
* Some guy called "mad dog" acting like a clowns shoe
* Me getting super salty after losing back to back games
* 4 man huttball - seriously we had a bunch of pops that were 4v4 and they were AMAZING
* Val making everyone look bad in 4 man huttball
There was meant to be a highlight video but unfortunately my PC died mid stream causing the file to corrupt, the replays are available on www.hitbox.tv/snave though if you want to check them out there. Unfortunately I'm unable to export them and upload as one video due to youtube blocking everyone because of the music playing.
So what about this weekend? Well we're doing it again only BIGGER and BETTER!
Full tryhard mode is encouraged. Turn up on the PTS with your super l33t team composition / guildies / FOTM collection and we'll get you in the queue. You don't have any of those things? Don't worry about it! Turn up anyway and we'll try to make you a balanced team to get in the queue with. The only thing I ask is that you turn up to take part, get involved and help us make this a regular community event for ALL servers to enjoy!
How do you join in?
* Download the PTS
* Transfer your character over (if your character has non min/max gear you can copy over multiple times and then transfer comms to your "main" one in order to buy it)
* Turn up on Saturday for 7pm GMT
* Additional step for NA players - Prepare to be destroyed by the EU.
We proved last weekend that this CAN happen, this weekend I want us to show we can make this happen again and with more people.
There is a open TS server for people to coordinate queues and games - tofn.eu is the address so please make sure you can get on to that server during the event. The two groups who get placed together can then swap channels to make sure communication is possible!
I know what you're thinking "Sounds good Snave but I need a bribe before I take part in these events". Well I've got that covered too. Mooseco has kindly send me over some Cartel Coin and Pet codes to use as giveaways throughout the night, pop along for a chance at winning 2400CC codes and some droid pet codes that no one cares about.
Event will be livestreamed at www.hitbox.tv/snave please don't hesitate to get in touch with any questions, I will be all over this thread for the next 5 days.
