Looking for help...

So once again, the pesky suck all my ram away bug/error/failed coding, w/e is back doing it to my computer.

After all the lag stuff, caused by the server merge, I was also starting to chug in certain places, and I was like, what the hell is going on?



As I have stated in other posts, I never had a problem with this game, and I have played since beta. Lag issues, nope, video, nope, nothing.



Now the game is becoming unplayable, like more then enough people have said on here. So I was looking to see if anything else was running on my system and I went holy crap, you know what I really said....swtor is sucking way more then has it has in a long time. I watched it just climb on the main process to 1.6 million. ***, and the 2nd was 300k plus. I had to install memclean, so it could keep giving me some of my ram back. What sucks is five mins, isnt enough to slow sucking of ram that is from your games fail coding. NOW, I did discover this,, I play on fullscreen windowed, however, when I went back to fullscreen, it almost all dropped to normal. Besides that being really fail for a game in this day and age, the only bad part then, was dealing with the loading screen. I hate that. You telling me, you people havent found out how NOT to make suck all the ram ? Really? So stuck between a rock and hard place there. Interesting, that I can use fullscreen windowed on any other game out there. And, gasp, even have multiple copies of it open, and still not use the ram that swtor is using.

So basically what kills me, is this problem has been around min of a year, and you still havent been able to track it down? or hey people, who are having this problem, if your doing fullscreen windowed,? and its doing it? maybe were onto something. I dont know.



What I do know, is that this is BS. And again posting here will result in nothing, but letting me feel better by typing it out. If anyone can tell me, or suggest some other things to try? Would be great, I read on here somewhere that they reinstalled, well I just did that waste of time today, with hope. Nope nothing. Watched as I logged a char onto its ship, the ram just climb and keep on going. Was at 800k when I finally logged back out disgusted, cause I know where this is going. Unplayable.

Fyi, wifes computer, was at 90k and 5k on the fleet for ram usage. While no matter what I did, it just kept eating it. Even when I used my other computer, it had nps. Maybe theres a setting some of us are missing? So again, any ideas to try would be great.
