after 24+ hours of patching and repairing and patching and repairing with gigabytes of download, i finally found the solution and want to.....
Patch 1.2 gave me Cataracts!
There seems to be a visual bug regarding the reflectivity of the eyes of characters in cut scenes. I tried it on various planets, in various lighting.....
